Lt image: Axial T2WI shows a mass in the left Sylvian fissure. The mass
has a thick hypointense perimeter and a high signal center.
Upper Rt: The perimeter is more isointense on the PD image.
Lower Rt: Coronal T1WI reveals a hypointense but heterogeneous center.
Upper Lt: Coronal T1WI is through a more solid portion of the mass.
Gd images: Coronal & axial T1WI's with gadolinium disclose bright
enhancement of the lesion except for the central core. The mass is extraaxial
and appears to have a base against the lateral wall of the left cavernous sinus.
Lt image: Sagittal T2WI shows a second lesion in the upper cervical spinal canal.
Middle image: Sagittal T1WI with gadolinium shows heterogeneous enhancement.
Rt images: Axial T1WI's with Gd reveal a dumbbell-shaped lesion with both an
intradural & extradural component. The mass enlarges the right neuroforamen.
