Sagittal and Axial T2WIs of the cervical spine, along with a single Axial T1WI (upper right),
show mass effect in the anterior epidural space with near homogeneous fluid signal. The thecal
sac and spinal cord are displaced posteriorly.
Sagittal and Axial T2WIs and a Sagittal T1WI again show mass in the anterior epidural space
with near homogeneous fluid signal. A septum in the midline of the cystic mass connects to the
posterior longitudinal ligament at the posterior margin of the cyst, indicating its epidural location.
