Legend
Axial CECT scans of the orbits show soft tissue thickening and enhancement of the right
preseptal tissues and the retrobulbar region, along with stranding of the remaining intraconal
fat. Mild proptosis is also noted.
Legend
Axial T2WI and FLAIR (right) images again show inflammatory changes within the orbital fat with
diffusely thickened right sclera/choroid/retina with T2 hyperintensity (most apparent on FLAIR).
Legend
Post contrast Axial and Coronal T1WIs with fat saturation show diffuse enhancement of the
sclera/choroid/retina, as well as the pre-septal and retrobulbar tissues. The enhancement
also extends posteriorly along the lateral rectus muscle and the adjacent extraconal space.
