MR images demonstrate multiple lesions with mild surrounding gliosis in the right
caudate and lentiform nucleus. Ill-defined hyperintensity is seen in the left
posterior limb of the internal capsule.
DWI reveals restricted diffusion in the left internal capsule.
MR angiogram of the circle of Willis demonstrates multiple areas of abnormal
narrowing and fusiform aneurysmal dilatation, especially the A2 segments of the
anterior cerebral arteries. No evidence of subarachnoid hemorrhage is seen.
