Legend
Axial T2 and FLAIR images at the level of the cerebral peduncles show
a large suprasellar mass. The mass splays the cerebral peduncles
and optic tracts. The mass is hyperintense and relatively homogeneous
on both the T2WI and FLAIR.
Legend
Coronal T1W non-contrast scan shows the mildly hypointense suprasellar mass.
Axial and sagittal post-contrast T1WIs demonstrate the above-mentioned mass
extending inferiorly from the hypothalamus and displacing the pons posteriorly.
The mass does not extend into the pituitary sella. There is mild indentation on the
floor of the third ventricle; however, there is no hydrocephalus. No significant
enhancement is seen.
