Legend
Axial post-contrast CT scan through the neck demonstrates a large, cystic mass
with thin septations at the lateral aspect of the neck. It also involves the masticator,
parapharyngeal, and carotid spaces. It extends into the retropharyngeal space
and abuts the pharynx, but it does not significantly compromise the airway.
Legend
Additional axial images reveal extension superiorly to the skull base
and inferiorly to the shoulder. No intracranial involvement is evident.
The mass does not enhance.
