There is abnormal signal intensity in the white matter on these axial
FLAIR images. Note involvement of both the genu and splenium
of the corpus callosum as well as the subcortical U fibers.
Axial T2 images, top, show involvement of the pons and right cerebral peduncle.
FLAIR images, bottom, demonstrate the abnormal white matter signal intensity
extending to the ventricular margin, and more involvement of the subcortical U fibers.
On the left post contrast image there is a single enhancing subcortical lesion
in the right frontal region. Sagittal FLAIR images, on the right, demonstrate
the callosal involvement with radially oriented lesions.
