Axial noncontrast CT images show low attenuation in the left perisylvian region
with mild mass effect upon the adjacent lateral ventricle. There is some increased
density along the medial margin of the lesion that may represent hemorrhage.
Following contrast administration there is abnormal heterogeneous
enhancement within the area of edema. A definite mass is not identified.
There is heterogeneous signal intensity and worsening mass effect on axial T2WI.
Coronal T1W image shows a heterogeneous mass in the left temporal
and adjacent frontal lobe. Coronal and axial T1W post Gd images demonstrate
irregular nodular enhancement of the mass.
