Legend
There are small areas of increased signal intensity on the T2 and FLAIR images
in the right temporal lobe and in the left occipital lobe. Note the increased
conspicuity of the lesions on the FLAIR image.
Legend
Both areas of increased signal intensity are hyperintense on the diffusion weighted image.
The left occipital lesion is seen as an ill-defined hypointensity area medial to the atrium
on the coronal T1 image, top right. Also noted is a CSF fluid collection in the left posterior
fossa. This represents an arachnoid cyst and was discussed in the previous case.
