T2-weighted axial images reveal hyperintensity in the optic chiasm and tracts.
FLAIR images confirm involvement of the visual pathways and additional areas in the
hypothalamus and right perisylvian cortex. Axial T2 images at the level of the IAC show a low
signal, lobulated mass in the right cerebellar pontine angle with mass affect on the brainstem.
After contrast administration thick nodular areas of meningeal and dural enhancement are
seen in the right sylvian fissure, chiasm, along the falx, and in the right greater than the left
cerebellar pontine cisterns.
Additional contrast images show abnormal enhancement in the right sylvian fissure,
suprasellar cisterns, interpeduncular cistern, and CP angles.
