Sagittal T1-WI demonstrates a heterogeneous mass filling the posterior third venticle
and quadrigeminal cistern. Note the areas of T1 hyperintensity along with areas of
hypo- and isointensity. A normal pineal gland is not identified. There is mass effect
on the tectal plate. Axial T2-WI demonstrates heterogeneous hyperintensity.
Axial FLAIR, axial T2-WI, and Coronal T1-WI demonstrate the heterogeneous nature of the lesion.
Post gadolinium, FS, T1-WI demonstrates intense although inhomogeneous
enhancement of the lesion. There is no obvious subependymal spread.
