Legend Axial T2-WI as well as axial FLAIR sequence both demonstrate abnormal increased signal in the lateral border of the right hippocampus and the calcarine cortex of the right occipital lobe.

Legend Coronal T1-WI demonstrates subtle asymmetry in the size of the hippocampi. Diffusion sequences reveal restricted diffusion in the right hippocampus and calcarine cortex corresponding to the T2 and FLAIR signal abnormalities. Key words: mri dwi vascular stroke
