Legend Axial T2-WIs demonstrate abnormal T2 prolongation bilaterally in the putamina. Also note the T2 prolongation present in the caudate heads and bilaterally within the globus pallidus.

Legend Axial FLAIR demonstrates the same abnormal hyperintensity. Coronal T1-WI and coronal STIR demonstrate corresponding hypointensity.
