Legend
Axial T2-WI and axial FLAIR both demonstrate a lesion characteristically located within the
glomus of the right lateral ventricle. Note that on both sequences the lesion is hyperintense
to CSF. There is no extension beyond the ventricle. There is no hydrocephalus.
Legend
Post gadolinium images demonstrate the relationship with the choroid plexus.
The choroid plexus normally enhances but the intimately associated lesion does
not. High signal on the DWIs is due to a combination of "T2 shine through"
and restricted diffusion from trapped debris or proteinaceous material.
