Axial T2 (left) and T1 (right) weighted images show markedly dilated lateral ventricles.
Note the septum pellucidum and corpus callosum are not well visualized but there is
an interhemispheric fissure.
Axial and coronal T1 weighted images show enlarged lateral and the third ventricles
but the fourth ventricle is not enlarged. Note that the thalami are not fused.
