Legend
Axial T2 and FLAIR weighted images demonstrate a large cystic mass within the
septum pellucidum. There is mild dilatation of the lateral ventricles as well as
increased signal in the periventricular white matter at the frontal and occipital horns.
Legend
Axial FLAIR (left) shows high signal in the periventricular white matter consistent with
interstitial edema (trans-ependymal flow of CSF). Coronal T1 (middle) and post
gadolinium axial T1 (right) weighted MRI show a large midline structure that obstructs
the foramen of Monro.
Legend
Noncontrast CT demonstrates the midline cyst. Nodular calcifications are identified
in both deep and superficial structures.
