Axial T2 and FLAIR images show high signal in the frontal and parietal white matter.
The abnormal signal extends across the corpus callosum (right).
Axial T2 and FLAIR images demonstrate T2 prolongation in the sub cortical white
matter (bilateral temporal and parietal lobes and the left frontal lobe) as well as
high signal in the left pons.
Precontrast coronal T1 (top) and post contrast axial T1 weighted MRI shows
hypointensity in affected white matter without enhancement.
