Legend
Flair axial MRI of brain demonstrates moderate edema (high signal) in both frontal
and parietal lobes. There's also mass effect with mild midline shift.
Legend
Flair axial and pre contrast coronal T1W images again show the mass effect in the
right parietal lobe. Note the extension of high signal into the corpus callosum.
Post contrast axial T1 weighted image reveals no enhancement.
Legend
Magnetic resonance spectroscopy shows a high ratio of choline to creatine peaks.
There is also a low ratio of N-acetyl-aspartate (NAA) to creatine.
The short echo (TE 30 msec) spectrum also reveals mildly elevated myo-inositol.
