Legend
Images 1 & 2: Sagittal T2 weighted images of cervical spine reveal antrolisthesis
of C6 over C7 vertebra with resultant spinal cord compression at this level.
Associated high signal area is seen in the prevertebral region.
Legend
Images 3: Sagittal T1 weighted image demonstrates again the antrolisthesis at
C6/7 level with associated prevertebral swelling of intermediate signal intensity.
Images 4 & 5: Parasagittal T1 weighted images reveal malalignment (rotatory
subluxation) of the facet joint articulations at C6/7 of the Rt side.
Legend
Top Lt: Axial T2 weighted image (degraded by motion) demonstrates hyperintensity
adjacent to the spinous process and poor definition of the Rt facet joint.
Bottom Lt, top & bottom Rt: Axial CT images in bone window setting from C6 to C7
show a fracture of Rt posterior lamina of C6 vertebra and a "jumped facet" on the
Rt side causing rotation of C6 on C7. Part of the C6 vertebra is seen anteriorly at C7
level consistent with the malalignment of the spine at this level.
