Axial FLAIR images reveal mass-like signal abnormality involving both gray and white matter of
the left frontal lobe with probable extension to the right frontal lobe via the corpus callosum.
More superior T2 and FLAIR axial images reveal the left frontal mass with mild midline shift.
Coronal (left) and axial (right) post gad images reveal no enhancement. The abnormal hypointensity
spares the corpus callosum, suggesting that the callosal signal abnormality on the T2-weighted
scans may be limited to edema. Subtle subfalcine herniation is seen on the coronal image.
