Legend
Axial FLAIR (left) and T2 (right) images reveal a high signal mass arising in the pineal region
and extending forward along the third ventricle. It compresses and displaces the third ventricle
to the left. A small amount of edema surrounds the mass.
Legend
Additional FLAIR image (left) shows some additional extension to the left of the 3rd ventricle.
Sagittal T1 images (right) aid greatly in locating the mass to the pineal region with extension
inferiorly along the posterior 3rd and into the tectum of the midbrain.
Legend
Clockwise, post gad axial, coronal, and sagittal T1WIs reveal vivid enhancement of this mass.
