Legend
Ax T2W: Large right anterior temporal lobe mass with heterogeneously increased signal,
adjacent white matter edema, and mass effect on right cerebral peduncle.
SagT1W: The mass has large round heterogeneous isointense component surrounded
by crescent of lower T1W signal. The sylvian fissure is markedly elevated.
Legend
Ax/Cor T1W: Post gadolinium, the enhancing portion appears based along the anteromedial
floor of the middle cranial fossa and greater wing of the sphenoid.
Proton spectroscopy: Prominent glutamine/glutamates (2.2 – 2.4 ppm) and lactate (1.3 ppm)
peaks with smaller components of lipid (0.9 – 1 ppm) and alanine (1.48 ppm). No significant
NAA (2 ppm) is visible above the shoulder of glutamates.
