Ax CT: fracture of the left facet; the transverse foramen appears intact.
Ax/Sag T2W: Absent left vertebral flow void, with high signal seen along course of the artery
in the superior and mid neck.
3D CE-MRA MIP: abrupt tapering of the left vertebral artery a few cm beyond its origin, with
reconstitution a few cm proximal to the basilar artery. CE TOF MRA: Raw images at a proximal
level show patency of both carotids and vertebral arteries, with decreased caliber of left vertebral.
At a level just above the carotid bifurcation, no flow is seen in the left vertebral artery.
