Legend Sag/Ax T1W: Post gadolinium, a thick ring of enhancing material surrounds the distal spinal cord, filling the spinal canal. The process is primarily intradural-extramedullary, but the conus medullaris also enhances mildly. Distally, abnormal enhancement extends along the nerve roots of the cauda equina.
