Legend Sag/Ax T2W: Homogeneous very high T2W signal fills an expanded thoracic intervertebral disc space, and is contiguous with high signal ventral epidural collection extending over two levels and severely narrowing the central canal. Multiple small rounded high-signal areas are seen in the psoas muscles bilaterally on axial imaging.

Legend Sag/Ax T1W FS: No enhancement within the disc; diffuse enhancement of both adjacent vertebral bodies, with endplate irregularity; psoas collections show rim enhancement. Key words: mri infection inflammation
