Legend
Left – Sagittal T2WI shows a compressed vertebra, with decreased height and hyperintense
signal. There is also posterior displacement with mild spinal canal stenosis.
Middle – Sagittal T1WI confirms the findings and reveals a signal abnormality in the higher
vertebra as well, which is more subtle on the T2WI.
Right – Axial T1 (upper) and T2WIs (lower) at the level of the compressed fracture show that
the abnormality extends through the left pedicle and into the posterior elements.
Legend
Sagittal and axial post contrast T1WIs with fat-suppression disclose heterogeneous
enhancement in the vertebral body, left pedicle and transverse process. Some paravertebral
enhancement is also present.
Legend
Unenhanced CT of the spine with coronal and sagittal reformations reveal a lytic lesion with
cortical fractures and decreased height of the vertebral body.
The chest CT shows a right hilar mass.
