Legend
Left – Axial T2WI and FLAIR show a slightly bright, well-defined oval lesion in the
hypothalamic region, involving the mamillary body. The lesion signal is similar to cortex
signal on both sequences.
Right – Sagittal T1WI shows that the lesion is slightly hypointense on this sequence and
further defines the location, posterior to the optic chiasm and anterior to the midbrain.
Legend
Left – Coronal T2WI discloses the lesion just superior to the left mamillary body and
between the columns of the fornix.
Right - Coronal and axial post contrast T1WIs show no enhancement.
