Legend
Axial T2WIs show multiple hyperintense lesions in the right cerebellum and medulla.
There is also increased signal in the lumen of the right vertebral artery (upper right image).
Legend
Left - Axial diffusion-weighted images reveal restricted diffusion in the cerebellar and
medullary lesions, which is consistent with cytotoxic edema.
Right (upper) – MR angiography shows no flow through the right vertebral artery.
Right (lower) – Axial fat-suppressed T1WI at the level of the foramen magnum shows increased signal
in the lumen of the right vertebral artery.
