Legend
Axial FLAIR and sagittal T1W images; Focal increase in FLAIR signal in the right frontal
lobe. Hyperintensity outlines enlarged lateral ventricles, and the corpus callosum is
bowed upward. Inferior recesses of the third ventricle are ballooned inferiorly with
narrowing of the mamillo-pontine distance. Heterogeneous hypointensity is present in
the cerebellum, and the pons is pushed and flattened against the clivus.
Legend
From Left to right: Axial T2, Axial T1W images (center and right) post gadolinium.
There is a partially cystic lesion in the left cerebellar hemisphere which demonstrates
post gad enhancement of the solid component. The adjacent sigmoid sinus is patent.
There is mass effect on the 4th ventricle which is partially obliterated. Minimal
amount of T2 signal prolongation is also seen medial to the lesion. An additional round,
enhancing lesion is present in the right frontal lobe.
