Axial FLAIR images demonstrate areas of T2 signal prolongation in the posterior limb
of the left internal capsule, left posterior corona radiata, right thalamus, and
peri-atrial white matter bilaterally.
Axial FLAIR and T2WI; Additional lesion are seen in the left parietal lobe,
periventricular white matter, and corpus callosum.
On sagittal FLAIR images, lesions have an orientation perpendicular to the lateral
ventricles in a pattern described as "Dawson's fingers". Images also show
subcallosal striations and a “dot-dash” pattern along the ependyma.
