Legend
Axial, post contrast CT images through the paranasal sinuses and orbits. There is an
enhancing lesion with its epicenter in the right maxillary sinus, with associated
destruction of the anterior and medial walls of the maxilla to involve the right
nasal cavity and the intra and extraconal compartments of the right orbit, including
the right nasolacrimal duct. There is associated mass effect on the posterior aspect
of the globe with right exophthalmos.
Legend
Post contrast, coronal CT image confirms the findings of page 1.
Axial images at the level of the floor of the mouth and oral cavity reveal heterogeneous
enhancement of 2 large masses posterior to the right submandibular and parotid glands.
Legend
Axial T2 and T1WI demonstrate the solid nature of the majority of the right maxillary
sinus lesion with small lateral and posterior components of fluid-like signal.
Legend
Post gadolinium axial and coronal images confirm heterogeneous enhancement of the
mass involving the right maxillary sinus and adjacent nasal cavity, anterior ethmoid,
and orbit, with a more lateral fluid component with peripheral enhancement.
