Legend
Axial T2WI and FLAIR, sagittal T1WI. There is a large heterogeneous lesion in the left
temporal-parietal-occipital lobes with extensive mass effect on the posterior horn of the
left lateral ventricle and marked surrounding vasogenic edema. There is T1 shortening
in the central aspect of the lesion suggesting blood versus proteinaceous material.
Legend
Axial T1WI post gadolinium, DWI and ADC mapping. There is strong peripheral and scant
central enhancement of the lesion with associated true restricted diffusion, suggesting
hypercellularity, viscous fluid, or ischemia.
