Axial T2W and FLAIR images. There is a round lesion in the left thalamus with
peripheral T2 signal prolongation and surrounding edema. Mass effect and midline
shift are also present. There is prominence of the lateral ventricles suggesting
partial obstruction of the foramen of Monroe/third ventricle.

Axial T1 and post gadolinium axial and coronal T1WI. The lesion is isointense on the
T1 images and demonstrates thick and nodular ring enhancement.
