Legend
Axial T2, FLAIR, and DWI images show a left frontal mass with significant
vasogenic edema and mass effect and no evidence of restricted diffusion.
Note the serpiginous flow voids coursing medially from the mass.
Legend
Axial and coronal images without and with gadolinium demonstrate multiple
solid and ring enhancing masses in the left cerebral hemisphere and left
cerebellar hemisphere with significant vasogenic edema and mass effect.
Legend
Axial T1W Gd-enhanced image shows a ring-enhancing mass with some
enlarged draining veins. Time-signal intensity curves demonstrate persistent
decrease in signal intensity (increased vascular permeability) in the region of
the mass relative to normal right brain. There is locally increased calculated
cerebral blood volume in the mass and decreased cerebral blood volume in
the surrounding vasogenic edema.
