Axial FLAIR sequences through the temporal lobes demonstrating abnormal signal in the right
medial temporal lobe involving the right mesial temporal lobe structures with ipsilateral
mild asymmetric prominence to the temporal horn of the right lateral ventricle. Findings
confirmed on the T2W sequences with loss of internal architecture of the right hippocampus.
Legend
Post contrast images demonstrate curvilinear enhancement of the irradiated right hippocampal
head and body, with probable central necrosis. GRE image reveals susceptibility from
associated chronic hemorrhage.
