Sagittal T2W , T1W sequences demonstrating L4/5 disk space loss with intra disk abnormal
hyperintense signal. There is marrow signal abnormality involving L4-S3 vertebral bodies.
There is a large associated epidural mass causing severe mass effect on the spinal canal
with an anteriorly demonstrated superiorly extending subligamentous soft tissue spread well
demonstrated on the sagittal sequences. Axial images through the area of interest
demonstrating the mass effect on the cauda equina.
Legend
Post contrast images demonstrate marrow, subligamentous, discal, dural, peripherally
enhancing soft tissue. Also demonstrated are anterior paraspinal involvement.
