Images 1 & 2: Axial proton density weighted images of brain show multiple
periventricular and deep white matter high signal lesions on both sides.
Two of them are noted in the splenium of the corpus callosum.
Images 3, 4 & 5: Coronal proton density weighted images demonstrate again
the multiple hyperintense white matter lesions bilaterally. One lesion in the
Rt posterior frontal region (image 4) involves the subcortical U-fibers.
Images 6: Axial post gadolinium T1 weighted image shows the lesions
as hypointense areas with no significant enhancement.
Image 7: Sagittal T1 weighted image demonstrates well the extensive
involvement of the corpus callosum.
