Legend
Images 1 : Sagittal T2 weighted image of the thoracic spine reveals
heterogeneous high signal lesions in multiple vertebral bodies, as well
as a mass in the posterior epidural space.
Image 2: Sagittal T1 weighted image shows diffuse low marrow signal of
multiple vertebral bodies indicating replacement of normal fatty marrow.
Images 3 & 4: Sagittal T2 weighted images of the lumbar spine show again the
diffuse heterogeneous high signal in multiple vertebral bodies. High signal
epidural lesions are seen at L3 and L5 levels in the anterior aspect of spinal canal.
Legend
Images 5, 6 & 7: Sagittal and axial post gadolinium fat saturation T1 weighted images
of the dorsal spine demonstrate abnormal paraspinal enhancing mass lesions
associated with the previously noted abnormal marrow lesions and epidural mass.
Legend
Images 8, 9 & 10: Sagittal and axial post gadolinium T1 weighted images
of lumbar spine show again the abnormal paraspinal and marrow lesions.
Extension into the spinal canal is noted with resultant spinal stenosis.
