Legend
Coronal T1, axial T1, and fat sat axial T2 images demonstrate a large, thin walled
mass inferior to the left mandibular angle. Its contents follow fluid on all pulse
sequences, with a thin septation evident. The mass extends between the
sternocleidomastoid and the carotid space, displacing the former posteriorly and
laterally and the latter medially.
Legend
Postcontrast images show that the mass has a thin enhancing rim and elevates the
left submandibular gland.
