Legend
Scattered high signal foci shown on FLAIR in white matter (left). Focal,
extraaxial, slightly hyperintense, parasagittal mass causes buckling of
gray-white junction. Post contrast T1 axial and sagittal images demonstrate
intense, homogenous enhancement of the mass with a broad base against the
dura and suggestion of a dural tail.
Legend
More diffuse FLAIR signal abnormality is seen in the parietal lobe involving
both gray and white matter, compatible with vasogenic edema. There is increase
in size of the extraaxial mass, with new non-enhancing central areas suggesting
necrosis. Post contrast images also demonstrate leptomeningeal and
pachymeningeal enhancement. Key words: mri tumor neoplasia therapy radiation
