Legend
Thin section axial and coronal images through the right temporal bone at the
level of the cochlea reveal marked demineralization and lucency of bones
surrounding the cochlea and semicircular canals. Cochlear anatomy is otherwise
normal. Adjacent soft tissue extends into the middle ear and displaces the
ossicles. Visualized ossicles themselves appear intact. Mastoid air cells are clear.
