Legend
Sagittal T1, axial and coronal T2 images centered on the clivus. Clivus displays
a mixture of high and low marrow signal, appears expanded, and has an intact cortex.
Abnormal marrow and bony expansion extends into the adjacent skull base on the left
to involve the greater and lesser wings of the sphenoid. Carotid flow voids are preserved.
Legend
Post contrast, T1, Fat Sat images do not demonstrate any abnormal enhancement within
the expanded bone. Axial CT image confirms the expanded appearance of the clivus and
skull base with heterogeneous ground glass appearance of the medullary space.
