Legend
1 & 2: Sagittal T2WIs of the lumbar spine disclose an oval mass lesion
with internal high signal intensity in the spinal canal at the L4-5 level.
3 & 4: Axial T2WIs at the L4-5 level show the lesion is extraaxial with
epidural compression and arising from the facet joint.
Legend
5 & 6: On sagittal T1WIs the mass is slightly higher signal than CSF.
7 & 8: Axial PD images also show that the lesion's internal signal intensity is
slightly higher than CSF. The lesion has a hypointense rim on both PD and T2WIs.
