Legend
1: Midline sagittal T2WI shows posterior fossa outpouching cystic mass with
internal CSF-like signal intensity. A small area of soft tissue signal intensity
lies within this cystic mass near the neck. Small posterior fossa and low cerebellar
tonsils are noted. Multiple small gyri are present in the medial occipital region.
2: Axial T2WI confirms the cystic mass extending from the posterior fossa.
Legend
3: Sagittal T1WI shows scalloping of the clivus and the cystic hypointense mass extending
posteriorly from the occipital bone. The tectum of the midbrain has a beaked appearance.
4 & 5: Axial T2WIs demonstrate enlarged bodies, atria, and occipital horns of the lateral
ventricles. Nodules indent the lateral walls of the ventricles.
