Sagittal T1 (1) and T2 (2) images show replacement of the marrow signal
of two vertebral bodies with mixed-signal masses which are expansile
and compress the cord. Axial T1 images (3, 4) show severe central canal
narrowing caused by posterior extension of the masses.
Sagittal T1 image of the lumbar spine shows masses in L5 and S1 and
compression of the superior end plate of L4. Axial T2 (6) and T1 (7,8)
images show involvement of the vertebral bodies and pedicles.
