Legend
Axial T2 and FLAIR (Rt image) images reveal medial and anterior displacement
of the right parietal and occipital lobes and left occipital lobe by a large extra-axial
low signal intensity mass. Note the collection of high signal lesions medial to the
mass, with multiple fluid/fluid levels.
Legend
Axial T1 images prior to (Lt image) and following gadolinium administration.
The nonenhanced image reveals the multicystic mass deep to the
crescentic-shaped hypointense mass. The signal intensity of the fluid/fluid
levels indicates hemorrhagic cysts. Heterogeneous enhancement of the
cystic mass is also present. Note the thick enhancement of the subjacent dura.
The large extra-axial lesion does not significantly enhance.
Legend
Axial CT sections without contrast reveal that the extra-axial lesion
is of very high density.
Legend
Axial CT sections reveal that the extra-axial lesion is of bone density,
and is continuous with the inner table of the calvarium.
