Legend
Axial T2 (1) and PD (2) images demonstrate an intra-axial high signal lesion
in the left occipital lobe with surrounding vasogenic edema and mass effect.
A small focus of lower signal intensity is present in the posterior portion of the lesion.
Legend
Axial T2 (3, 4) and PD (5) images reveal two more lesions. The cerebellar lesion is
heterogeneous but of generally lower signal intensity than the lesion seen in image 2.
Legend
Coronal T1 pre (6, 8) and post (7, 9) T1 images show some peripheral
enhancement of the frontal lobe lesion seen in image 3 and a small left
cerebellar lesion, as well as marked enhancement of a right cerebellar
mass. The left occipital mass shows several enhancing nodules.
Legend
Axial gadolinium-enhanced T1 images reveal peripheral nodular enhancement
of three of the lesions. The internal signal intensities of which vary from slightly to
markedly hyperintense relative to parenchyma.
