Rt & Lt images: Axial T2 and proton density weighted images of brain
reveal a well defined extraaxial lesion, high on T2 and slightly low
signal on PD, in the region of Rt posterior temporal lobe.
Lt top image: Coronal T1 weighted image demonstrates the lesion as low
signal comparable to CSF. The temporal lobe has molded around the lesion
over time so that the degree of mass effect is relatively small for the size of the lesion.
Rt top and bottom images: Axial and coronal post gadolinium T1 weighted images
show no significant enhancement of the lesion. No adjacent dural enhancement is noted.
