Top: axial T2WI shows left proptosis, orbital fat heterogeneity, and swelling
of the anterior soft tissues. The orbital soft tissue heterogeneity extends
posteriorly into the orbital apex.
Bottom left and right: T1WI's demonstrate similar findings with hypointensity
involving the anterior compartment and the immediate retrobulbar tissues.
Axial and coronal T1WI's with gadolinium show enhancement of the orbital
and peri-orbital soft tissues. There is loss of definition of the left extra-ocular
muscles. Note left superior orbital fissure involvement.
