Axial T2WI's show multiple punctate hyperintensities in the basal ganglia,
bilaterally. No mass effect or parenchymal edema is evident.
Coronal T1WI's show that these punctate lesions are hypointense
and seem to follow the path of the lenticulostriate arteries.
